PUBLIC COMMISSIONS
2002 Commissioned by the Vatican Museums to decorate the ceiling of the entrance to Pope John Paul II’s personal library
1987 Commissioned to paint large work for permanent display in the foyer of Philip Johnson’s Crescent Center in Dallas, Texas
Massimo Pulini is also a leading expert on 17th-century Italian art. He has published important research on the work of Baroque masters such as Guido Reni, Lorenzo Lotto, Andrea Lilio, Guercino and Guido Cagnacci and has curated several major exhibitions including:

PERSONAL DETAILS
Massimo Pulini was born in Cesena in northern Italy in August 1958. He is a tutor in painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna.
